Hi I’m Jake! I grew up in southwest Florida just below Sarasota. I played college football at Maryville College for four years and graduated in 2013. I began going to church after graduating college, got plugged into being a youth leader, and that’s where I met my wife. We moved to Jacksonville in 2016 and began serving at Oceanway Church, where my wife got hired. Currently, I serve as the Young Adults Pastor at Oceanway and my wife is the Connections Pastor. We have a 5 month old son named Nehemiah, and 2 doggos, Java and Kopi!
Best thing I have learned about marriage is that the learning never stops. You are constantly learning more about yourself, more about your spouse, and more about God on a daily basis.
