No matter how busy we are, dinner time is always a place where we know we can connect and catch up on the day as a family.
The dinner table is a great place to learn more about our kids, their likes, their friends, their concerns and their dreams. On the flip side, it’s an incredible opportunity for them to see their parents interact and laugh.
Asking these open-ended questions is a sure way to connect as a family!

Print out all of the questions on strips of paper, put them in a jar with a cute label (maybe Family First, Jar of Joy, Dinner Time = Family Time, etc.) and then pull one strip out per night.
-
Parents: Tell your kids how proud you are of them and why! Do this often because they need to hear it from you.
-
During family dinners, tell the person to your right one reason why you love them.
