Holiday Gift Ideas For Couples

THE HOLIDAYS ARE RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER, SO NOW IS A GREAT TIME TO START PLANNING THE PERFECT GIFT FOR YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER.

If you’re stuck, don’t worry! We are here to help! You want your gift to be something thoughtful and unique, and you ultimately want it to scream “I KNOW YOU” and “I LOVE YOU” all at once. Here are some festive ideas to help you out!

Take Lessons or A Class Together

What is a better present than spending time making memories with you while also learning something new? A great gift is to surprise the one you love by signing up to take a class together! There are so many options out there, but here are a few to consider: Dance, Cooking, Mixology, Guitar, Stain Glass, Crafting, Art, Acting/Improv, Rock-Climbing, A New Language, Parenting, Tennis, Golf, Pottery, or even Sewing!

A One-Time Experience

My husband and I decided a while ago that we wanted to invest in experiences and memories together more than we wanted something new and shiny; so a “one-time-experience” is a great gift! Think of something that you love to do together, then pick a date and pre-purchase the tickets! Some great choices to consider would be: concert tickets, a Broadway play, paint-ball, laser-tag, a theme park, Comic-Con, a sports game (baseball, football, or even hockey!), paint night, or a music festival.

Pre-Paid/Pre-Planned Getaway

If you want to take your experience and kick it up a notch, gift a getaway and handle all the details! And to make it even better than that, make it a surprise by arranging a babysitter, arranging for the time off with your significant other’s boss, and even booking the tickets and budgeting beforehand! Think anything from an over night bed-&-breakfast to a whole week at a beautiful resort! Do all the work so that all your sweetheart has to do is pack their bags and enjoy time with you!

Set Them Up to Start Something New They’ve Been Talking About

My husband has been telling me for months that he would really love to get into painting mini-figurines. So, this Christmas you can bet I’m going to set him up and he will find a figurine and a set of special paints/brushes under our Christmas tree! Why? Because I pay attention to him and the best gift I can think to give him is the knowledge that I believe he is worth investing in. So ask yourself: What has my loved one been wanting to start, but has been hesitant on doing? Is it a new hobby? Is it starting a trade school? Whatever it is, take notice and invest in them!

Alternative Wedding Rings

If your spouse leads a very active lifestyle, or works with their hands for a living, then you know traditional metal bands and unique wedding rings can get in the way. Enso Rings are some of the safest, most versatile silicone wedding bands on the planet. (Casey and Meygan love theirs!)

Invest In Your Relationship

Last, but certainly not least, invest in your marriage! Pick out a marriage book to read together, get a membership to Marriage365, or commit to pre-marital counseling by signing up for our Happily Ever After course!
