Getaway Waiver
Check out our Covid wavier! I think we’ve signed about 100 of these in the past 18 months. Our lawyers required us to create a waiver to make sure everyone ‘stays safe’. Covid-19 Travel Updates
As of May 2021, all air passengers coming to the United States, including U.S. citizens and fully vaccinated people, are required to have a negative COVID-19 test result no more than 3 days before travel or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 in the past 3 months before they board a flight to the United States.Covid-19 Testing – The Hilton provides COVID-19 testing on-site at the hotel for $30 per person. Payment for the testing can be done in cash or credit card (excluding AMEX). After the testing is complete you’ll receive and email as well as a printed copy of proof you tested at an approved location to enter back in the US. As our trip approaches we will provide more details on how to schedule your test.
Flight & Transportation Tips
Arrival: To arrive with ample time to get to the hotel and attend our private dinner on the beach, please schedule your flights to arrive no later than 2:30pm on October 7th. Although check-in time is 3pm, if you arrive early, feel free to lounge at the pool, or grab a bite at the lobby restaurant. The hotel will hold your luggage so that you can start to enjoy the amenities as soon as you arrive! Departure: Our last session will be from 10am – 12pm on Sunday, October 10th. If your departure flight is any earlier than 2pm you will most likely miss it, so plan accordingly!Transportation: If you arrive on October 6th or 7th, and depart on October 10th or 11th, we will be providing transportation to and from the airport. As the getaway approaches, we will have more information regarding this. Toll Road: If you choose to provide your own transportation, please be aware of the TOLL ROAD when you’re driving. To get from the airport in Cabo to the Hilton, it is $2.15 and it HAS to be US Cash.Getting Around Cabo: If you’d like to rent a car while in Cabo, we recommend using Cactus Car Rentals. If you need to leave the property for any reason, the Hilton does have a shuttle, but I would not base your activities dependent on that information. If you choose to do off-site activities, most companies will provide transportation.Flight Information: If your flight information changes please text Cathlene immediately with the new information (714)306-3933.

Passport Information
You will need a valid passport book to travel to Mexico. Please check the expiration date on your current passport to make sure it will be valid in October. A passport card or birth certificate will not be accepted to travel outside of the US.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should we expect upon arrival?
When you arrive at the hotel, you will be dropped off in front of the lobby. As you approach the check-in area, please put your mask on and wait for your temperature to be taken. Upon checking in, you will be given a bracelet to show that you are with Marriage365. You will need to wear this all weekend to be admitted to all meals and events. Don’t worry, it’s waterproof!
What’s the deal with meals and drinks?
The meals included with our getaway are listed below:

- Happy Hour hosted from 3pm to 9pm

*Please note that any meals or drinks served outside of those listed above will be your responsibility and billed accordingly. This includes room service, mini bar in your hotel room, meals at the lobby bar, and items purchased at Dulce Coffee Shop.
Do we need to tip servers?
No, our all inclusive package includes all server tips..but if you’re feeling generous please feel free to tip!
Does the hotel accommodate food allergies?
They sure do! Anytime you dine at one of the restaurants, please notify your server of your food allergies. They have many gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options.
What’s the coffee situation?
The Hilton has an onsite coffee shop called Dolce. Dolce also has snacks, gelato and some other yummy treats. The hours are 7am-10pm. Part of your stay also includes your breakfast at El Meson which includes cappuccinos, lattes and fresh coffee. Be sure to order a fresh green juice with your breakfast! It’s our favorite.
Will US dollars be accepted?
Yes, they take US dollars and accept MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. There is also an ATM at the hotel for your convenience.
How much spending money should we bring?
Since your room, food, drinks and tips for the servers are included in the retreat cost, it’s really up to you with how much you want to bring. If you plan on doing excursions or leaving the property, do some research and check to see if the location accepts credit cards and US dollars. Most places accept US dollars and do not require pesos but always double check.
What if we want to extend our stay?

What is the hotel doing to ensure safety in the midst of Covid-19?
Upon arrival, the hotel staff will take your temperature and provide you with hand sanitizer. The hotel has hired extra staff that focus solely on cleaning and sanitizing. All hotels in Cabo cannot exceed a 70% occupancy which means that there is plenty of room to practice social distancing. We spent an entire week at the hotel in July 2020 and felt incredibly safe. We were impressed with the hotel’s commitment to making sure their guests and staff are healthy.
What are some of the amenities the hotel provides?
In your hotel room: blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, a safe, WIFI, two complimentary waters per day, full size ironing board and iron, and a mini fridge. When you’re at the pool, the resort includes beach towels to use at both the beach and the pools.

What are the sessions going to look like?
Get ready to start working on your marriage. Casey and Meygan will be teaching you healthy relationship techniques, model what they look like, and then give you time to practically apply them to your relationship. We will provide pens, worksheets, snacks, and water.
We want you to be comfortable during the sessions so please dress casual. Also, we will be running the air conditioner so if you get cold easily, you may want to bring a jacket.
Does my cell phone work in Cabo?
Most US carriers already include plans that have you covered while in Mexico. When we were in Cabo in July, our phones automatically switched to the local carrier without incurring any fees. Not to worry, the entire hotel has great wifi coverage.
Can we cancel if we change our minds? Do you offer refunds?
The $700 deposit is non-refundable, if you had to cancel your trip this year, your deposit can be applied to any Marriage365 hosted event in 2022. If your deposit is not used by 12/31/22, it will expire.
If you cancel BEFORE September 1, 2021, due to the uncertainty of travel due to Covid, we will not be hosting a Cabo couples getaway in 2022. If you had to cancel your trip this year, your deposit can be applied to any Marriage365 hosted event in 2022. If your deposit is not used by 12/31/22, it will expire.
If you cancel AFTER September 1, 2021 for reasons other than Covid, due to the uncertainty of travel due to Covid, we will not be hosting a Cabo couples getaway in 2022. If you had to cancel your trip this year, your deposit can be applied to any Marriage365 hosted event in 2022. If your deposit is not used by 12/31/22, it will expire, but all other payments you have made WILL NOT be refunded.
What if I have to cancel because of Covid?
If you cancel BEFORE September 1, 2021 for any reason, your $700 deposit can be transferred to a future getaway in 2022, but will expire 12/31/22. Any other payments you have made WILL BE refunded.
If you cancel AFTER September 1, 2021 due to COVID, your $700 deposit can be transferred to a future getaway in 2022, but will expire 12/31/22, and any other payments you have made WILL BE refunded. You will need to provide proof of a positive COVID test prior to receiving any refunds.
What are some activities that we can do during free time?
You can swim at any of the resort’s 4 pools or head to the beach directly in front of the resort (yes the beach is swimmable and the water is warm). There are tennis courts and the hotel can provide rackets and balls…just ask the front desk. There is a full service spa that Meygan will most likely be at and on Saturday from 3-5pm. There’s a cute coffee and gelato shop on property called Dolce that we highly recommend visiting for something sweet. A couple of other ideas- bring a deck of cards, read, nap, take a walk on the beach or have sex!
